The BRIT Awards 2012

After a massively successful and popular ceremony last year the O2 Arena will once again be the home of the BRIT Awards. Actor/writer/producer James Corden will return to host the evening for a second year running; James was a big factor in making last year's awards so successful and his charm, humour and enthusiasm kept both the audience and the stars entertained.

The BRIT Awards not only celebrates the current music scene with awards, live perfomances by the biggest artists are also a big part of the night. Performances at the BRIT Awards can be some of the most famous for an artist, such as last year's performance from Adele which recived a standing ovation.

The famous BRIT Award has once again been given an exclusive makeover, this year's design has been created by Sir Peter Blake. Sir Peter has designed some of the world's most iconic album covers; including Paul Weller's Stanley Road, Stop the Clocks by Oasis and was also behind perhaps the most famous album cover of all time; The Beatle's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The design by Sir Peter Blake will be used for this year only.
